Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Contribute to the delivery of a Market business plan and targets as a member of the local management team in close alignment with HQ functions
  • Lead the development and implementation of Supply Chain Strategy to support Market goals and financial objectives
  • Develop capabilities and initiatives to support supply chain performance over a multiyear horizon, and be responsible for supply chain processes, infrastructure and enablers
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop supply chain strategy that supports and meets country's strategy, performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Maintain routines to ensure delivery of core supply chain metrics in terms of product availability (OTIF), 3DD, cost (supply chain cost as percentage of net sales), inventory and service
  • Lead management routines to monitor core supply chain performance, including delivering against _product availability_, _cost_, _service level agreements_ and _inventory_ objectives
  • Secure infrastructure capacity and flexibility needs, by facilitating and/or enabling required DC projects or efficiency programs. Starting with the business case creation and in close communication with local, regional and global teams.
  • Accountable to secure country's budget control and compliance.
  • Build and maintains good relationships with Commercial functions, Key Accounts, line managers as well as the entire team to communicate direction and objectives.
  • Create strategies and routines to ensure that demand and supply are broadly in balance, including opentobuy (OTB) and purchasing processes.
  • Manage all local operations teams (purchasing, inbound, customs, order fulfillment, warehousing and distribution and outbound) including 3rd party providers where applicable.
  • Develop and drive key customer collaboration initiatives to develop and/or enhance supply chain solutions.
  • Focus on channel excellence and ensure a close relationship with the customers to continually improve processes being the preferred supplier in our category
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within global guidelines.
  • Provide input on country needs to Regional and Global functions, including Global Logistics, and ensures rapid implementation of global solutions.
  • Define organizational structure, set objectives, and manage workloads and results to achieve goals while adopting best practices and achieving continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team.
  • Guarantee key certifications for the operation like OEA, Maturity assessment, aDCE and others

  • Head of Apparel and Footwear Sourcing
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
  • Leadership & Decisive Judgement
  • Must have the ability to interact at the highest levels of the company.
  • An acute sense of business management and administration.
  • A strong and dedicated understanding towards the Group and customers' needs.
  • The ability to turn thought into action.
  • Must develop the entire SCM team to be a strategic partner to the business
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University level degree, usually in Business or Engineering, required
  • with MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of supply chain management experience in progressively senior positions, operations experience an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability of managing cost performance, supply/demand forecasting & distribution execution for a broad product range across multiple locations.
  • Proven capability in leading a large scale organization.
  • Background in FMCG or packaged goods industry.
  • Certifications such as those in Six Sigma, Operations or Inventory Management a plus.
