The Account Manager will be responsible for managing government accounts in the southern region of Latin America.

The position will involve working with the ministries of interior and foreign affairs and selling complex IT projects related to passport issuance, country ID issuance, and ABIS systems.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and decisionmakers in the ministries of interior and foreign affairs.
  • Upsell existing contracts by promoting new ideas and solutions to ensure long lasting relationships with clients and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Promote and sell a dedicated portfolio for potential opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to government officials and other stakeholders to promote company solutions.
  • Define the international sales strategy and approach, negotiate terms and conditions and address problems, and complains.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients capturing risks and opportunities.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments, including changes in government regulations and policies.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience
    selling complex IT Projects:
  • Experience working with different stakeholders and handling large complex business proposals and tenders
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering with IT sales experience or related fields
  • Fluent in English (B2 or above)

Ability to travel extensively within Latin America (at least 70% of the time).
