Marketing is the function responsible for understanding customer needs, industry and consumer trends across packaging, processing and services. We help our markets create business opportunities by ensuring delivery of value-added products, services and solutions.

Within Marketing, the Business Insights & Analytics Team is responsible for securing relevant market and consumer information, transforming it into recommendations to key stakeholders and drive best practice for Tetra Pak.

We are looking for a Business Insights Expert Americas who will identify information needs throughout the lifecycle of our products in the Americas region, in order to have a structured market and consumer understanding, and who will execute research and methods, so that relevant consumer needs are identified for development and marketing activities.

The position can be based in any of our offices in the US, Central America, Mexico or Colombia.
You may be required to travel once a quarter.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.


What you will do:


As a Business Insights Expert Americas, you will:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify critical consumer and business insights gaps.
  • Plan, design and commission a variety of international consumer research projects, including briefing and evaluating proposals from consumer research consultants.
  • Be in charge of daytoday management of research projects and supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate the logistics of consumer tests, in particular working with package prototyping to make sure that relevant tests material is produced for package tests.
  • Present research findings to internal clients and cooperate in translating consumer findings into strategic or tactical actions.
  • Consolidate and maintain existing consumer research databases, ensuring that consumer research reports are archived and published on internal online platform.
  • Integrate research reports as well as secondary information to provide holistic view and developments on categories to inspire new business strategies and opportunities.
  • Support key stakeholders, especially Market Companies in the Americas region, in terms of market research solutions, methodological aspects and global consumer insights.

We believe you have:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration or related fields.
  • At least 34 years of relevant experience in marketing, business analysis and/or consumer/B2B research within FMCG (agency or company).
  • Wellrounded knowledge and expertise in qualitative and quantitative, primary and secondary research.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate research findings, consumer and retail panel data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power Bi.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to anticipate future needs and identify potential options and constraints and to think through the implications of decisions and actions.
  • Ability to initiate change in anticipation of future developments, and you act in advance to deal with expected difficulties.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact in different environments and situations and to take on challenges.
  • Great team mentality, exchanging information and supporting colleagues.
  • Great English and Spanish skills, both written and spoken.
