Specific Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for understanding the Master Data Structure for all inscope ERP Applications (Financial)
  • Accountable for understanding the Master Data Structure for Non-ERP Global Applications (Concur, Ariba, PeopleSoft, ADP) and how these Global Applications impact the SBD SAP ERP environments
  • Accountable for understanding Financial Reporting, either ERP based, in Excel or HFM / Hyperion Planning (BA&R), including any related mapping and conversion logics
  • Accountable for the understanding the Global Cost Center and Global GL Account maintenance process
  • Provide support to the business partners on ERP and nonERP financial structure decisions and requirements related to projects, acquisitions, conversions, reporting needs
  • Maintain guidelines, playbook documents and other common sites that provide information to our customers
  • Support Data Governance projects and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives
  • Support GSS Initiatives that provide value to the Business Units
  • Teleworking from any city in Colombia

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Advanced English:


  • Ability to learn Stanley's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and nonERP systems
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, business operation, and processes
  • Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and highly organized
  • Excellent problem identification, prioritization and remediation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • At least basic SAP knowledge
  • Helpful:
  • Experience with / knowledge about
    financial reporting in Excel, SAP or Hyperion:

  • Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL or similar

Strong analytical skills including data mining, analysis, trending and writing accompanying commentary:


  • Ability to manage complex discussions with Business Users:
  • Understanding of sound internal control activities and practices

Well versed in data governance best practices:

  • **Ability to think strategically while operating tactically to implement a Global solution.

Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in business/accounting with 3+ years of experience OR equivalent combination of experience and education required.

Knowledge of master data governance and data management principles and concepts.
