About the Role:

The New Verticals Account Manager role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your communication and negotiation skills.

This role focuses on driving growth and increasing retention as well as consolidating an operational excellence performance to guarantee the best in class experience and service.

Account Managers are critical to retaining our highest value accounts, ensuring new partners are successful on our platform, and consult partners that have the potential to grow in the Caribbean Region (Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico).

This role calls for a combination of an operational and excellence attitude, analysis of performance and exceptional relationship management.

You should thrive in an "all hands on deck" environment, love solving problems, and above all be passionate about our partners.


What you'll do:


  • Build longterm relationships with New Verticals merchants
  • Develop meaningful and longlasting relationships with key partners by focusing on building trust and crafting successful joint business plans
  • Monitor the activity and analyze data
  • Perform a broad range of financial, quantitative, and qualitative analyses to continuously improve the reliability of the orders).
  • Present and report key results to partners.
  • Promote Uber Eats New Verticals value proposition and foundations
  • Clearly understand and communicate the value of Uber Eats to the portfolio assigned. Seek and achieve best in class operations and look for ways to grow our business within existing accounts.
  • Contribute to improve Uber Eats service
  • Act as an ambassador of Uber's mission, brand, and product being a problem solver for partners and team. Identify ways to develop further Uber Eats offering to answer partner's needs.

What you'll need:


  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Proven experience in an account management role, Business Development or Operations
  • Excel proficiency and an interest in dealing with numbers and analysis
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuasively communicate recommendations and effectively champion customer needs.
  • Project Management: good organization, prioritization & time management skills
  • Analytics experience: Intermediate level in SQL
