A Day in the Life
This position is an exciting and new opportunity to work with Medtronic's Patient Monitoring, Respiratory Interventions and/or MCMS businesses.

Currently part of Medtronic, Medtronic has announced its intention to transition these businesses either into a new stand-alone company (currently referred to as NewCo) or merge them into the business of another company.

While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of NewCo or upon the transition of the business unit to another company, which may occur in approximately 12-15 months, your employment may transfer to one of these entities.


The business will have the same singular focus, financial commitment, deep domain expertise, and global footprint needed to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable and scalable healthcare technologies.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop strategies that will increase revenue, develop markets, and gain market share for the Business Unit products.
  • Develop a deep business, customer, and industry knowledge. Develop strong clinical knowledge and links with leading physicians and key opinion leaders.
  • Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities
  • Work closely with the regional teams and Business unit leader LATAM.
  • Formulate business strategies and work with distributors and direct sales team to implement strategies and action plans for the territories.
  • Align support level for the business with functional stakeholders of the clusters.
  • Establish sales forecasts and set sales targets for distributors and sales teams.
  • Review and track sales performance versus plan; work with sales teams as appropriate to resolve issues.
  • Review and track inventory levels to ensure the optimum level of efficiency.
  • Manage the motivation and performance and development of the sales. clinical & marketing team.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, negotiating with distributors and customers to achieve successful long term businesses success.
  • Direct marketing and training resources on education programs, product launches and other marketing and education related programs.
  • Responsible for administrative duties such as budgeting, expense and revenue management, etc.
  • Performs other duties in line with business needs.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree: Clinical, Health or Business Administration or any related field
  • 3+ years sales & Marketing management experience
  • Relevant medical industry experience
  • Experience leading teams
  • Excellent understanding of financial indicators.
  • Experience with maximizing distributor network

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Renal Care products, therapies, market.
  • Master degree in business or related field
  • Medical device business experience
