Cargill Risk Management, a business unit of Cargill, stands as a trailblazer and industry leader in delivering comprehensive risk management solutions on a global scale.

Our primary focus revolves around collaborating with customers to deeply understand their commodity exposure and tailor risk management products, particularly over the counter, to precisely meet their requirements.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cargill Risk Management operates across 11 countries, showcasing our widespread presence and reach.

The Senior Director role assumes a vital position based in Latin America (excluding Mexico and Mercosur), with a primary objective of servicing agricultural and energy clients in the region.

In this influential role, the Senior Director will shoulder the responsibility of spearheading the development of new markets and cultivating new customer relationships, while also selling a diverse range of risk management solutions across multiple commodities to existing clients.

Additionally, they will foster robust partnerships both internally and externally.

Furthermore, the Senior Director will play a cross-functional role by sharing pertinent market insights, product strategies, and customer perspectives with colleagues across the business, encouraging adoption in other markets or geographies.

LI-JANIA Key Accountabilities

Develop and execute strategies to drive growth within specific market segments, with a primary focus on expanding our client base
Establish and implement effective processes to generate new revenue from prospective accounts, aligning with the organization's overall targets and individual quotas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex accounts, products, services, and sales or account management processes
Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service, promptly resolving issues to foster client retention
Strategically plan and execute sales initiatives for key accounts, emphasizing relationship building, opportunity identification, and strong account management skills
Provide expert thought leadership in your field, demonstrating autonomy in problem-solving and leveraging additional research and analysis. May also provide guidance to supporting team members and contribute strategically Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Minimum of six years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing sales role Fluency in English


Preferred Qualifications More than eight years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing sales role, specifically in the agribusiness and or energy sectors, with a strong expertise in commodity risk management.

Fluency in multiple languages in addition to English. Demonstrated success in effectively teaching and communicating complex concepts, products, and information. Proficiency in futures and options markets, as well as trading strategies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in commodities trading, financing, or merchandising
