We seek a highly motivated and seasoned security professional with creativity, initiative, teamwork, and project management skills to join our Crisis & Security Consulting practice.

The practice is responsible for working with clients to review, design, build and optimize resilience and security programs to protect our clients' people, property, processes, information, and reputation.

The Associate Director will play a key role in the practice as a fee-earning consultant delivering and project managing end-to-end projects for clients across the Andean Region.


_ Client engagement and consulting:
_


  • Project manage and work both individually and in teams to deliver Control Risks' crisis & security consulting services to clients. The Associate Director will be responsible for the management of the entire project lifecycle from scoping, through delivery, to completion of the administrative and financial conclusion of the engagement.
  • Understand our clients' business and potential or existing risks to be able to correctly identify and scope both strategic ad tactical consulting solutions, including complex and innovative crisis management, business continuity, physical security and technological security services.
  • Engage and work together with other consultants, other practice areas and contractors. Oversee and administer project resources and budgets.
  • Demonstrate considerable initiative and responsiveness by proactively and reactively supporting our clients through challenging security and disruption risks.

_Growth and Development of the Business:_

  • The Associate Director will also be expected to engage with existing and new clients and perform business development activities such as arranging client meetings, attending industry events, speaking at events, writing proposals and capability statements and presenting our value to our clients.
  • Establish relationships with new security consulting clients and grow relationships with existing clients through the outstanding delivery and management of projects.
  • Contribute to marketing through public speaking engagements, the authoring of thought leadership pieces and development of marketing materials.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in risk management and security management fields, either in a corporate or "inhouse" setting and/or in a consulting role.
  • Working knowledge of relevant resilience and security best practices and international standards.
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver quality solutions including written and oral delivery of training, presentations, and reports.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate with diverse client audiences, including security managers, crossfunctional stakeholders with nonsecurity backgrounds and executive leadership
  • Experience in reviewing, designing, developing and implementing corporate security programs, including security policies and procedures
  • Fluent Spanish and English language skills (written and spoken)
