Senior Network Operations Engineer, you will take ownership of and manage the production system uptime and functionality. This involves troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve various system and network issues efficiently.

Additionally, you will engage in investigating and escalating NetOps Alerting during working hours, ensuring prompt attention to any potential issues.

Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 to 5:00 Central Time
Work setup: Remote/Work from Home

What do you need to succeed?

Experienced Support Engineer (tier 34)/IT sys admin/ Network Operations Eng. background from web/network/information
Security companies
Required
Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Networking, TCP/IP, Firewalls, and proxy servers
Ability to read applicative system logs and search for relevant root causes for issues. Possess great troubleshooting abilities and a passion to dive into complicated technical problems in real production environments
Experience working with a Cloud, SaaS technology provider
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with a willingness to manage multiple simultaneous projects
Ability to work effectively and thrive in a fastpaced environment
Ability to work with a globally dispersed, crosscultural team

Plus:

Familiarity with Network & security protocols and standards

What awaits you in this role?

Take ownership of and manage Cato production system uptime and functionality, including troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve various system/network issues.
Engage in, investigate, and escalate if necessary, NetOps Alerting during working hours, and follow up on alerts from offhours (IL working hours).
Track and monitor system status, identifying both areas of concern and growth opportunities.
Mitigate outages and system malfunctions to ensure no customer effects and prepare escalations by priority/urgency for IL DEV teams.
Engage with thirdparty service providers for the resolution of network/system issues (e.g., carriers, SMS providers, etc.).
Provide highertier system support for Cato customer support T1
Follow up on IX provider communication to expand and optimize Cato network's internet connectivity.
Create dashboards and alerts for Cato's system functionality.
Act as a focal point for Cato's support/field Engineering by understanding the business use cases.
Contribute to building, improving, and expanding Cato's NetOps ownership.
