IT Business Partner - Andean Region
About the role
- Recognized for not being an "order taker", but a challenger/builder with consultative skills always focused on what is best for either support countries and region;
- Has a constant eye in leveraging and scalability, not country specific needs only;
- Has a detailed knowledge of business processes for commercial, services and finance and has suggestions or ideas on how to improve
- Will work with LATAM's Business and IT teams to enable the implementation of key initiatives across Latin America
- Ease to interact with incountry executives to define project scope and business case to support the project goals
- Is transparent to our business partners about development and grow business trust
- Manages communications amongst IT staff, vendors, and internal business partners
- Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and establishes effective and efficient processes, including prioritizing demand
- Works collaboratively across IT and business functions, including legacyBSC and acquired businesses
- Identifies training needs of end users; develops and provides the necessary training to meet those needs.
- Drives analysis to jointly define integration plans for acquired systems and data
- Escalate issues and project risks as they arise and elevate them to management
- Must be able to be a voice of reason and authority and make tough calls
- Ensures Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to by business stakeholders
- Drives or participates in all stages of system integration from gathering user stories/requirements and researching options, design, configuration/development and testing, to rollout and maintenance.
- Appropriately communicates task status, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.
- Assures quality of business systems by developing test specifications, executing test specifications, and implementing test plans, while working with project managers and business partners to improve integration processes.
- Works closely with development teams (internal and external) to assure timely solutions are delivered according to the specifications and implementation needs of the business.
- Ensures that system & related processes meet all applicable compliance requirements
- Ensure adherence to BSC Global Systems methodologies and standards
Basic Qualifications
- Highly experienced in implementing commercial solutions (CRM with emphasis in Salesforce, Digital Marketing) solutions; CPQ knowledge is desirable
- Previous experience in the use and implementation of digital/exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience Information Technology projects
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence leadership
- Strong leadership competencies is required with a strong sense of personal accountability
- Consultative skills for business solutioning and business stakeholder engagement
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Entrepreneurship profile (sense of ownership), focused on bringing top notch value driven technologies to BSC
- Hands on experience, easily navigating from operations/tactics to strategy
- Demonstrates courage in ensuring valuedriven solutions are delivered
- Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum/Waterfall environment.
- Ability to partner with business divisions and functions in delivery
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Experience delivering and maintaining systems within a highly regulated environment
- Experience with data analytics
- Experience with ERP integration (preferably with SAP)
