Job Description:

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities

Perform standard reconciliations/analysis between US GAAP books and local GAAP books and develop permanent audits of transactions and processes.
Identify and report discrepancies between local and corporate books and determine alternative courses of action keeping evidence of permanent/temporary differences.
Perform data analysis of the balance sheet and PnL accounts by using financial software and tools to determine variances, trends, discrepancies.
Check completeness, reasonability, and mathematical accuracy on accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, policies, and industry regulations.
Supervising, preparing, verifying, and maintaining financial records, including journal entries and general ledger accounts.
Support and supervise the information submitted to the local tax authorities or other controlling governmental entities.
Transfer pricing knowledge
Payroll analysis abilities
Assisting in the training and development of junior accountants, providing guidance on best practices and resolving complex accounting issues.
Collaborating with auditors and assisting with financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
All round knowledge of company operations
5 years of experience in a Sr. Accounting role
Degree in Accounting with preference of postgraduate in IFRS
Preferable prior experience in Audit firms or Multinational companies
Effective written and verbal communication capabilities both in spanish and english to facilitate clear and concise financial reporting and collaboration with stakeholders.
Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records and reports.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
Analytical and problemsolving abilities.
