Hello, I'm Camilo Mendieta, a devoted father to my two wonderful children and a loving husband. I'm a naturally curious and creative individual, always seeking new ways to learn and share knowledge. I firmly believe that the foundation of mutual growth lies in the sharing of knowledge.

 

My background includes a strong passion for technology, which led me to become an Electronic Engineer. Additionally, I hold an MBA in Digital Marketing. As a  certified Product Manager, I've had the privilege of collaborating with various tech companies across Latin America, Central America, and the US. My experience spans a diverse range of projects, including web and mobile applications, chatbot,  voice bots, digital agents,  B2B web SaaS platforms, metasearch engines, and blockchain initiatives.

 

Throughout my nine years in this position, I have cultivated the ability to prioritize user needs while maintaining a healthy distance from specific products or concepts. Striking a balance between user and business perspectives. My hands-on experience has sharpened my problem-solving and decision-making skills, which have contributed to my proficiency as a product manager.

From the early stages of my academic journey, I understood the significance of comprehensive business acumen in driving successful product initiatives. Earning an MBA was not just a checkbox on my academic list but a conscious decision to equip myself with the vital skills needed to grasp intricate business frameworks, strategic planning, and the nuanced challenges of the corporate ecosystem. From conceptualization and design to the complexities of AI-driven solutions and go-to-market strategies, my certifications ensure that I am always a step ahead, predicting challenges and optimizing solutions for maximum product viability and user-centricity.

However, understanding the product is just one part of the equation; ensuring teams function cohesively and efficiently is equally vital. To bolster this, I pursued and achieved credentials in Scrum Mastery, Agile Coaching, OKR Coaching, and Design Thinking. Each of these methodologies and frameworks plays a distinct role.
