Esteban Jiménez Mejía

I am an Electrical Engineer with a degree from the National University of Colombia, Faculty of Mines, specializing in power systems and high voltage. I hold a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, focusing on induced voltages by atmospheric discharges, and a Doctorate in Physical Sciences from the National University of Colombia, Faculty of Sciences, specializing in the instrumentation of high-voltage systems using fiber optics.

Since 2008, I have actively contributed to numerous basic and applied research projects. My expertise lies in managing interdisciplinary projects for technological development, creating experimental systems, and assessing and protecting intellectual property for prototypes. I am recognized for proposing solutions rooted in academic rigor while ensuring practical feasibility to achieve project objectives.

My strengths include exceptional adaptability to collaborative work environments, profound respect for my colleagues' perspectives, and a proactive and facilitative approach to problem-solving. I derive satisfaction from delivering excellent results and thrive on embracing new technical and academic challenges. I consistently value individuals as a cornerstone for the success of projects.

In addition to my research endeavors, I have a solid background in teaching both technical and formative subjects. I firmly believe in the integral role knowledge transfer plays in achieving professional excellence.
