Juan Sarmiento

My name is Juan Sebastián Sarmiento Neira. I am a tenth semester law student at the Universidad de los Andes. I have knowledge about the prior consultation, climate change, cultural pluralism, gender focus, carbon credits and environmental licenses. Additionaly, I am approving master's subjects in law (research). I have skills in writing, research and analysis of information. I maintain an open mind when faced with problems and I am always willing to learn.

Assistant Teaching of Logical and Rhetorical: August 2022 - December 2022.

1. Support the organization and application of the study program.
2. Monitor students on course topics such as: PBL, typology of argumentation, writing legal problems, among others.
3. Design and update the platform where study material and activities were published.

Legal Assistant - Carbon Credit Coursing S.A.S. - June 2023 - December 2023.

1. Drafting documents on environmental regulations related to carbon credit projects.
2. Prepare presentations and dissemination material on the carbon market, carbon projects and carbon credits.
3. Support in the design of PDD for the implementation of REDD+ projects.

Assistant Teaching of Legal Theory (jurisprudence): January 2024 - December 2024.

1. Support the organization and application of the study program.
2. Monitor students on cours topics such: positivism, legal historicism, utilitarism, feminism, critical legal studies, decolonialism and other types of legal theories.
