Pedro Chaparro

I am currently working as a Frontend Developer at iProcess Colombia SAS (July 2024 – present), where I build user interfaces with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and TanStack Query. I collaborate daily with the backend developer in an Agile/SCRUM environment to integrate new features. I have created dynamic forms using react-hook-form and also contributed to backend tasks with Express, TypeScript, MySQL, Prisma, and Drizzle. One of my key achievements was optimizing the bulk invoicing logic, reducing its execution time from 1–2 days to under a minute by leveraging concurrency with TypeScript and p-limit. Additionally, I contributed to Dockerizing projects for deployment on a PaaS platform.

I graduated as a Systems and Computer Engineering professional from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (2020–2024), where I completed a project-based curriculum that included several group projects. I was also part of the Competitive Programming group, qualifying for the national round in Bogotá, and I graduated with honors distinction. In addition, I completed the Full Stack Developer with JavaScript learning path at Platzi (Nov 2022), which included 20+ courses and practical projects. Beyond that, I pursued over 60 extra courses on the platform, reflecting my strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
