In my professional experience, I have managed various aspects of the immigration process: At Matian Law Firm, I handled the filing of I-589 asylum applications and E-42b applications for cancellation of removal for certain non-permanent residents. My responsibilities included coordinating biometrics for identity verification and managing various motions through Webex, changes of venue (COV), and motions to withdraw (MTW). Additionally, I was responsible for drafting written pleadings, submitting court filings, and handling applications for employment authorization (I-765). At Ricky Malik Law Firm, I specialized in prosecutorial discretion, advocating for the exercise of discretion by prosecutors in immigration cases. I filed E-42 and I-589 forms with both the court and USCIS, ensuring all necessary supplemental documentation was included. I handled various motions, including recalendaring, notices of filing, advancing, terminating, dismissing, and continuing cases. My role also involved managing naturalization applications (N-400) and consular processing with I-601A, which included provisional waivers and consular interviews. Additionally, I was responsible for filing the DS-260 online immigrant visa application, scheduling and preparing extreme hardship evaluations, and handling combined petitions and applications such as the I-130 (petition for alien relative) and I-485 (application to register permanent residence or adjust status)

I graduated as an attorney from CES University in Colombia in 2023. In addition to my university degree, I have actively participated in numerous seminars on Colombian law. Furthermore, I possess experience as a paralegal specializing in immigration law in the United States.
