Claims Consultant - RCC LA (M/F/d):

We are looking for a qualified professional for the position of Claims Consultant in our Regional Claims Centre Latin America (RCC LA) located in Bogota.

Bogotá, Colombia


The
Claims Consultant will monitor and analyze claims and claim portfolios on regional basis and will have the opportunity to work closely together in a high-performing team in claims management and developing creative and innovative Claims solutions together with our clients.

Your job
-
Managing Property and/or Casualty Claims according to own levels of approvals
-
Monitoring of claims portfolios, analysis of defined portfolios for adverse developments
-
Loss Analyses in different areas as Client Management and Underwriting
-
Interface to RIA/Claims Handling units; work in close cooperation with these areas and identify Quality Assurance Measures
-
Analysis and identification of overarching claims trends:


  • Outlier Monitoring, provision of qualitative and quantitative overviews on developments of all new and existing Outliers, and exchange of information with Claims Managers

Exposure Estimation together with Claims Management (e.g. NatCat events)


Profile:

-
Degree in Business, Economics, or similar fields with qualified insurance experience**:


  • Experience in Claims processes and terminology in Latin American markets

Strong numerical and analytical skills:


  • Strong client focus and solution-orientation:

Willingness to learn and eagerness to share knowledge with local and virtual Client Teams

Strong analytical thinking combined with a high level of commitment, responsibility, and reliability

Focused, organized, proactive, and efficient work style:


  • Excellent communication skills and command of English and Spanish
