    Has overall sales responsibility for customer relationships andperformance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impactclient base in any size cluster/geographical area

    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop Sales and Business Strategy

    • Develop an effective vertical strategy to deliver on the Ocean and Logistics targets.
    • Seen as Vertical leader and expertise in the Area within Maersk brands and provides guidance and support to commercial teams on potential opportunities from other Brands within same Vertical.
    Deliver as per Area Budget

    • Drive own portfolio of assigned customers and targets by securing new business based on identified customers' needs.
    • Develops Sales Pipeline for Ocean and Logistics opportunities, with proper filing of events and business opportunities in the system.
    • Lead and set direction for the sales executives within your team according to budget – both on delivering ocean volume and logistics GP.
    • Develop own vertical sales skills as well as within your team.
    Manage stakeholder across the area, region and global functions

    • Collaborates with other Area Vertical leads in the Latin America Region to secure new business within the region.
    • Oversees regional implementation of the global vertical strategy differentiating the product offering in the market.
    • Collaborates with Marketing, Sales Manager, Global Vertical Lead and Product Teams to design solutions for service offering for the vertical customers assigned

    Minimum 8 years of logistics experience with proven 3 years sales experience in the FMCG Vertical (Desirable)Knowledge in the Technology Vertical.

    Logistics financial acumen.
    Proven track record in assessing customer needs, developing and selling logistics solutions.
    Negotiation skills by adopting value selling approach.
