This is an opportunity for a remote Business Development contracting position in a United States based company established in the travel industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Align with the company's mission to create an epic customer experience at every touch point
• Create and implement strategies for sales and business growth
• Implement the newest technology offerings to the customer
• Maintain key relationships to retain clients
• Develop new solutions to meet client needs
• Hire, train, and lead a team of corporate and leisure travel agents to ensure an excellent customer experience at every point of contact
• Develop and maintain key performance goals and manage the performance of travel agents
• Improve internal processes for better productivity
• Manage travel division budget and monitor the financial health of the travel division to make recommendations to the executive team
• Respond to high level inquiries, requests, and needs of existing clients

Skills and Experience

• Fluency in English
• Ability to develop and execute a sales strategy
• In depth knowledge of the travel industry
• Excellent management skills and experience managing a staff
• Excellent people skills and the ability to build key relationships
• CMS management experience
• Organization and time management skills
• Experience with Apollo/Globalware, Agency Technologies, iBank/Cornerstone, and other travel technologies is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
• Enthusiasm and excellent communication, both verbal and written
• High integrity, hardworking and a team player
