About the Role:

The Consultant, Field Technology III provides field technical support to customers by serving as the primary technical interface for TD SYNNEX products, solutions, and services.

Performs a variety of product, and technical support functions which include research and resolution of pre-sales technical and process related issues.

Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do:

Provides presales resolution of all technical and process related issues, using appropriate escalation points when necessary.
Consults with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems, evaluate operational and performance requirements.
Consults with customers concerning presales design, development and maintenance of products/services.
Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with presales technical solutions.
Responsible for knowledge transfer of advanced technical theory to target audiences.
Communicates complex information and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively to target audiences.
Participates in products, solutions or services training to maintain technical knowledge, active certification and competence.
Assists in determining the feasibility of proposal, conferring with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problem.
Consults on advanced configurations on converged solutions.

Assignments are often selfinitiated using independent judgment and discretion.
Work is checked through consultation and agreement with others and only informally from direct supervisor.
Might supervise 2 individuals who provide tactical / technical support.
Serves as adviser to management and external spokesperson for the organization on major technical initiatives.
Actions guide and impact the successful completion of major projects. May function as a project leader.
Effects of erroneous decisions are longlasting, require the expenditure of extensive additional resources and will result in the organization's failure to meet objectives.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions:

10+ years with bachelor's or equivalent combination of formal education and directly

- related experience.

8+ years with master's degree
Education and Certification(s):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education
May be required to travel 20% to 30% of the time
Field based Certification:
34 brands or advanced technical certifications in 12 brands.
