This Senior Manager Tech Support oversees the whole IT support structure and leadership in all transactional and fundamental need for flawless business operations execution for Optum Colombia.

A Sr.

Manager with infrastructure strategical decision maker, who will design, implement, and execute strategical operations which make our operation more optimal.

Guide the best practices of Optum IT operations and support to be replicated and driven.


Will be responsible for eliminating single point of failures, cost optimization, chargeback validations, budgeting & forecasting, elevated support in incident and change management, vendor management, operational dashboard reporting & cadence with business leadership, repository of IT assets (hardware/software), localized RCO (Desktop).

Support critical areas for the IT leadership to cover Colombia and Global operation.


Main responsibilities
-
Team and area Management:

Overall accountability for IT Infrastructure and IT projects within OGA
Be the single point of contact for business operations leadership
Elevated support in incident and change management Operational dashboard reporting & cadence with business leadership
Driving teams to create repository of IT assets (hardware/software), localized RCO support
Drive deliverables to meet project deadlines / milestones with IT Support team.
Track and update project plans and documentation.
Single point of contact for all project IT vendors/providers.
Document weekly status reports including project progress, key milestones, tasks accomplished, etc. Host weekly status call with project team

Infrastructure:

Engage resources (management, service vendors, business segment leads, etc.) for project assignments.
Create and design IT resiliency eliminating single point of failures
Manage all IT aspects of Corporate Real Estate Projects. Responsible for voice, data, cable infrastructure - or any other technology issue related to Real Estate projects.
Work with Optum IT data/voice/security/server engineers to determine equipment and circuit equipment specifications.

Networking:


Perform Optum IT change management procedures to create, submit, and coordinate various change requests associated with Optum IT Network Services current and future projects.

Interface with construction trades as necessary to ensure MDF/IDF construction to Optum design standards.


Requirements:

years IT Infrastructure leadership experience in data network deployment.

  • Managed IT Programs as well as driven IT Operations
  • Hands on experience with large network rollout deployment activities.
  • Background in fundamental voice and data network technologies (e.g., LAN/WAN, network routing protocols, IPT, IVR).
  • Demonstrated success leading complex network initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with real estate projects and contractors
  • Experience with acquisition integration
  • Experience with VOIP installations and deployments.
  • Experience with wireless LAN installations and deployments.
  • Willingness to take ownership and be accountable for delivery of services to the business partner.
