This role focuses on our Ultra Platform, which provides students with a simple and intuitive learning experience that they can access anytime and anywhere.

It's a solution that's continuously evolving to meet users' needs, and we're looking for someone to join the team and get deeply involved in the existing product code base, improving the quality and enhancing the functionality of the product.

As a member of our Product Development team, you'll work in an agile environment delivering industry-leading SaaS products and web service platforms.

You'll be deeply involved in translating wireframes and sketches into working prototypes to refine user interface behaviors.

Required skills/qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience designing, writing, and deploying scalable software
Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures
At least 2 years of experience writing code in an Object-Oriented language, preferably Java
Experience using AWS services such as RDS, EC2, ALB, DynamoDB, or others
Strong problemsolving skills in large, scalable, complicated systems
Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences
Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above

Preferred skills/qualifications:

25 years of experience
Experience with REST APIs, Spring framework, microservices, etc.
Experience with performance tuning against large, scalable, cloudhosted services
Ability to pick up new technologies and frameworks
