About the job: 

The Business Performance Enablement Senior Specialist is responsible for maintaining and developing Power BI and other analytical tools & capabilities used by the Opella NA organization. They will work closely with the local team to handle requests, troubleshoot issues & deliver enhancements to the reporting landscape. 

Key Results / Accountabilities:

• Maintain Power BI dashboards to support key functional areas of the North America region.

• Implement new functionality in existing and new Power BI dashboards based on business needs.

• Build expert knowledge of NA business processes as they pertain to dashboards & data; enabling capability to resolve challenges with context.

• Lead the automation of recurring reporting & forecasting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy and timeliness of financial insights.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies or performance bottlenecks in reports or data pipelines.

• Stay current with emerging technologies in data analytics, visualization, and financial systems to continuously improve reporting capabilities and technical infrastructure.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence.

• Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models, with advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).

• Strong experience with Excel & PowerPoint in a business and analytics context.

• Foundational knowledge of SQL language & Snowflake data warehouses.

• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• English fluency is a must.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Programming skills in Python / JavaScript

• Experience with advanced Excel features such as Power Pivot and ODBC connections

• Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, Claude) and usage to optimize and automate processes.

• Experience with PowerPoint add ins including Thinkcell and PPT Productivity

• Experience working with SAP (S4 HANA). Advanced ERP knowledge.
