    Principal Food Scientist Food

    At Griffith Foods, we are in search of a Principal R&D Food Scientist, whose mission will be to lead, develop, define strategies, and coordinate efforts for product development aligned with initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, nutrition, and sustainability requirements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the process of developing new products.
  • Promote the achievement of financial objectives and defined impact metrics for the R&D process.
  • Identify areas of research and technology required to meet company objectives.
  • Develop key projects for the organization, with everything required for their implementation.
  • Ensure compliance in the manufacturing and packaging process with specifications agreed upon with the client.
  • Create technical information for new developments.
  • Verify compliance with legal standards.
  • Constant technical improvement in technical categories.
  • Meetings and visits to key suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain quality and food safety standards, overseeing laboratory tests and analyses.
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Food Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Biological Engineer, or related.
  • Must be Bilingual (English): Advanced.
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Over 8 years of experience in the Food sector, in the Research and Development area.
  • SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

    Experience in product development, with specific knowledge in the category of nutritional blends, supplements, sports drinks.

  • Knowledge of the processes involved in the production of such products, technical aspects related to specific raw materials for this segment, and applicable regulations.
