    Project description:

    A biotechnology research project that earned recognition as a trusted provider of clinical genetic testing and an ideal collaborator for developing precision medicine solutions. Patients are central to the project's mission, driving partnerships with numerous non-profit organizations to support patients and healthcare professionals in their quest for answers. The main focus - is Clinical Cancer Diagnostic; however, the project is designed to expand into additional areas such as Molecular Diagnostic Testing, Cardio Genetics, Neuro Genetics, etc

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage Linux environment designs, including administration, security enhancements, OS upgrades, and issue resolution.
  • Automate and implement build, deployment, validation, and configuration procedures.
  • Partner with the operations team to architect IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee releases and maintain various environments.
  • Establish network security and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Deploy and manage development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and external interfaces.
  • Configure necessary tools and infrastructure.
  • Design, set up, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques for IaC and CI/CD operations.
  • Drive automation initiatives.
  • Manage incident responses and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement through CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Maintained ticketing systems and timely updates.

    • Requirements

    Must have:

  • Proficiency in AWS CI/CD, Code Pipeline, and general support.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Proficient in administering and troubleshooting Linux OS, with bash scripting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo).
  • Experience with various build, automation, IaC, and deployment tools (, Jenkins, Bamboo, Terraform).
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of messaging systems (, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS, AWS SQS).
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (, MySQL, Aurora, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of networking, DNS, Route 53, and AWS IAM policy management.
  • Experience managing storage concepts (, S3, EBS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (, CloudWatch, Datadog).
  • Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management and cost optimization.
  • Bachelor or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of AWS deployment experience and DevOps experience.
  • Background in genetics or genetic testing is highly advantageous, and a good sense of humour is essential.
