This journey will lead to improve project outcomes, being able to leverage the digital twin, systems integration and interoperability, support for decision-making, autonomous execution, and integrated operations and performance centers.


  • Serve as a cyber security Subject Matter Expert
  • Serve as a toplevel escalation contact for technical issues
  • Take a proactive leadership approach in maintaining and improving corporate information security
  • Manage the execution of cyber security projects
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to further develop cyber security capabilities in Hatch
  • Mentor staff to expand organizational cybersecurity awareness
  • Spearhead and participate in security architecture reviews
  • Perform risk assessments and business impact analysis for new technologies and system implementation
  • Investigate, and develop technical solutions to address security issues and improve organizational security posture
  • Assist in deployment and support operations of existing security systems and processes
  • Participate in development and maintenance of cyber security policies, standards and guidelines
  • Manage relationships with key partners
  • Remain abreast of relevant industry and technology developments and trends with a view to maintaining and enhancing organizational security
  • Provide input on enterprise cyber security tactics and strategy

You bring to the role:


  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Palo Alto Networks security platform
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Defender suite of security solutions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in securing the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft network services and protocols (e.g. DNS, DHCP, NPS, ADCS, NTLM, Kerberos, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft directory services (AD, AAD)
  • Working knowledge of Windows administration concepts (GPO, Intune, etc.)
  • Strong understanding and working experience in general networking (routing / subnetting / protocols / etc.)
  • Experience in cyber threat risk assessments (penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, threat modelling)
  • Expertise in delivering security architecture assessments for yettobebuilt and existing assets
  • Development of customized security solutions using commercial security countermeasures (IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls, etc )
  • Expert knowledge of IT digital technology trends including Cloud Computing, SOAR, XDR, SASE, ZTNA

The following is considered an asset:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Cyber Security or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience appropriate for the assigned duties
  • Able to communicate with different levels of the organization
  • Experience in working with distributed teams of professionals
  • Experience building and managing vendors and other parties relationships
  • A relevant industry certification ( CISSP with an optional concentration, or a similar relevant recognized industry designation e.g. CISM from ISACA or something from GIAC)
