    The purpose of the internship program is to provide the university student with an opportunity to develop professional skills, gain practical experience, and gain exposure to Control Risks' business methodologies.

    All this in a dynamic, demanding and rewarding work environment where she/he can put to practice the knowledge acquired during her/his studies and learn, while looking for solutions to real life problems

    The successful candidate will support the delivery of Control Risks' analysis of political, security, operational, integrity and social risks in the Andean region (9 countries), with a focus on Colombia and Peru. Specifically, the successful candidate will support on research and writing of regular updates for Control Risks' online services offering, as well as for bespoke consulting reports.

    Requirements

    • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree
    • Student of Political Science, International Relations, Economics or Journalism
    • Business fluency in English/Spanish languages (both written and spoken)
    • Ability to write clearly, concisely and authoritatively to tight deadlines
    • Experience with IT tools such as Microsoft Office
    • Solid understanding of the political, security and social risk landscape for private sector investment in Colombia
    • Academic or professional training in political analysis
