A Preview of Your Role:


Be part of our client's team as a
Senior Graphic Designer, responsible for a wide range of creative and graphic design duties in support of DFLOW's delivery of Creative Services.

You will ensure all material produced meets specification and quality standards for our client's customers. Oversee day-to-day studio creative efforts, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.


Job Overview:

  • Work setup: Onsite, Bogota and Medellin

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for managing time and work performed in the DFLOW Creative Services department, including but not limited to:
  • Graphic Design
  • Art Layout services
  • Artwork Fixup
  • Provide highquality, innovative, and industrystandard graphic design services, ensuring work is delivered within agreed deadlines and client budgets.
  • Ensure detailed accuracy of artwork is maintained and checked against the original brief as well as requested client edits.
  • Generate and develop highquality concepts and digital ideas that meet the customer's brief and brand.
  • Manage the print process and services on behalf of the client by undertaking prepress file preparation and liaising with printers.
  • Produce material that complies with the client's corporate style and brand identity.
  • Contribute to studio project management processes and efficiencies by utilizing ngine software to accurately report on workflows and billing.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the latest and emerging digital design software and experience in designing at scale for multichannel outputs.
  • Highly effective in collaborating and creating work with peers.
  • Maintain communications with appropriate studio staff and management to ensure positive workflow and status updates.
  • With the support of Design Team Leaders:
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Decipher complex design briefs and objectives into clear design and copy solutions.
  • Assist with triaging workload to Graphic Designers.
  • Provide guidance on the most appropriate and costeffective solutions to meet client communication needs.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review design studio staff, including training new studio designers.
  • Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by studio designers.
  • Support the Art Director to ensure quality assurance is maintained across all creative jobs by providing a critical view and opinion of all creative work created by the studio designers.
  • Under the direction of the Art Director, provide specialist advice on emerging graphic design trends and technologies.

Qualifications Needed:


  • Completion of a Graphic Design or related degree with professional experience in a graphic services environment; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
  • 4+ years diversified experience in the Print or Graphic Design industries, including practical experience in prepress/graphic design.
  • Extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly a thorough and highlevel understanding of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Thorough knowledge of other digital software including:


  • Communication

  • Slack, MS Teams


  • Adobe

  • After Effects, XD
  • MS Office
  • Office, Word, PowerPoint.
  • A diverse portfolio comprised of branding, design solutions, and works for major brands.
  • A genuine understanding and appreciation of highquality graphic design, including typography, layout, and color.
  • Excellent experience in working to a house style guide and an understanding of the importance of maintaining a consistent and cohesive brand identity.
  • Excellent proofreading and basic editorial skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
