A Payroll Coordinator with benefits knowledge plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits.

The job description for this role typically includes a range of responsibilities related to payroll administration and benefits management


Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:


  • Collect and verify timekeeping information.
  • Calculate and process payroll for employees on a regular schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.

Benefits Administration:


  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Enroll new employees in benefit plans and communicate benefits information to existing employees.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for benefits administration.
  • Stay informed about changes in benefits laws and regulations.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and benefits programs.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
  • Previous experience working with PAYLOCITY
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

BenefitsSalary:
$4M COP monthly


Contract:
Full-time position with indefinite term labor contract


Location:
Colombia, Remote


Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours.
