Kenvue is recruiting for a(n)
R&D PACKAGING PL ENGINEER position, located in CALI, Colombia.

This position will be responsible for leading packaging development projects for existing products in Colombia.

It's a key position that will lead CIP (Cost Improvement Projects) projects and provide direct support to the liquids/toiletries/engineer plant, as well as for EM (External Manufacturing) sites.

It will act on both Strongholds and Essentials packaging components, leading packaging initiatives on technologies such as bottles, caps, tubes, labels, and laminated flexible films, as well as to drive simplicity on current processes for the region.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plans, designs and development plans and analyzes and interprets the results.
  • Build a strong supporting and collaborative role with the manufacturing sites driving partnership on execution.
  • Designs, develops validation of package components and packaging processes.
  • Support process improvement on simplicity of existing procedures.
  • Determines packaging methods and techniques and adapts standard methods to meet variations.
Utilizes technical expertise, comprehensive work experience, complex and diverse package engineering knowledge to generate valid creative solutions


Qualifications:


Education:

University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent. Industrial engineering, Chemical engineering.


Experience and Skills:


Required:


  • At least 2 years of research and development experience (This position is more a junior profile)
  • Capacity to critically evaluate and determine development plans
  • Capacity to technically support team colleagues
  • Have a leadership mindset to drive a collaborative attitude to the team
  • Openminded and creativity to understand current processes and challenge the status quo
  • Intermediate
- advanced english level.
