    Job Description:

    As a seasoned Software Engineer, you will lead and mentor our Subscription Management and Billing/Invoicing engineering teams through technical challenges, promoting best practices in software design, UI/UX, and Agile methodologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Communicate technical designs, requirements, limitations, and implementation to cross-functional teams
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, fostering continuous learning and growth
    • Lead by example in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
    • Collaborate with engineering leaders and product stakeholders to design robust, scalable, and high-performance software architecture
    • Contribute to full-stack development using Ruby on Rails, Go-Lang, and Node.JS, encompassing frontend and backend functionalities
    • Conduct regular code reviews and ensure high-quality code that is secure, maintainable, and efficient
    • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance system performance and response times
    • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and contribute to product planning and roadmaps
    • Foster an environment of continuous learning, refinement of business acumen, and domain/industry vertical expertise

    Qualifications:

    • Extensive hands-on experience as a Software Engineer (12+ years)
    • Strong knowledge and expertise in Ruby/Ruby on Rails platform
    • Proven experience in designing and building out infrastructure and architecture
    • Experience in designing and developing systems that can operate at scale
    • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
    • Demonstrated capability to provide technical mentoring and guidance to other developers
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • PASSION FOR CONTINUOUS LEARNING AND STAYING UP-TO-DATE WITH THE LATEST INDUSTRY TRENDS
