Job summary

The Sales Appointment Setter at Nova Energy plays a crucial role in driving growth by identifying potential customers, engaging them through targeted outreach, and scheduling appointments for our sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Contact potential clients via outbound calls, SMS, emails, or CRM platforms.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule appointments for the sales closers.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, follow-ups, and scheduled appointments in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure lead handoff is seamless and effective.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs, including call volume, appointment setting rate, and show-up rate.
  • Follow scripts and objection-handling strategies provided during training.
  • Provide regular feedback on lead quality, objections encountered, and script effectiveness.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and performance reviews.
  • Represent Nova Energy's mission and values in all customer interactions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience in cold calling, appointment setting, telemarketing, or related roles preferred.
  • Experience in the solar, roofing, energy, or home improvement industry is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with CRM tools and outbound calling platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Resilient, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance-based compensation.
  • A reliable internet connection and a personal computer with a headset (for remote roles).
