    To assist Shift Charge Engineer of a shift group on ensuring safe, smooth and efficient operation of the plant process, e.g., Weighbridge, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant, Incinerator Boiler Unit, Turbo-generator, Overhaul, Reception Hall, Bunker Management, Flue Gas Treatment Plant and other general plant matters.


    Daily routine works:
    Business/Management Activity


    To assist Shift Charge Engineer to ensure safe, efficient and smooth operation of the plant equipment and machinery so as to achieve the plant objectives.

    Function-Specific Activity


    To assist Shift Charge Engineer to coordinate activities and ensure safety procedures in accordance with the Permit-to-Work system such that works can be carried out safely and efficientlyTo troubleshoot, study processes and equipment fault, carry out frontline maintenance.

    To perform isolation and normalization of equipmentTo assist in attending to Plant emergencies for safe shutdown of plant equipment.
    To monitor and take corrective measures to optimise Plant performance.

    To bid and optimise sale of energy to Energy Market and ensure compliance power generation as determine by Energy Market Company.

    To perform any other duties as delegated by the Shift Charge Engineer or Operations Manager.

    Contractor Management

    Supervise and oversee maintenance activities that are carried out by contractors.
    Ensure contractor compliance to in-house rules and HSE protocol. Ensure adequate supervision is provided and jobs are carried out safely.
    Liaise with contractors on matters relating to maintenance works.

    Any tasks or jobs assigned by Management.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS


    Diploma/NITEC in Engineering or equivalent4-5 years working experience in Industrial/Process PlantWorking knowledge of the principles and mechanics of plant equipment is essentialMeticulous with good interpersonal and communication skillsHave a safety mindset and participate actively in safety initiatives and eventsGood team-player with high initiativeAn interest in process or Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Plant operations.

    Must be able to get accustomed to WTE environmentAble to commit to emergency activation need beyond normal working hours.
