Procurement Accounting Analyst to be located in
Colombia .


Purpose:

Responsible for providing general accounting and administrative support to the finance department.

Reviews account analysis of all related balance sheet and income statement accounts. Examines and validates various financial transactions related to general accounting. Support the internal/external audits, identification and correction of discrepancies and variances in various accounting reports. Analyze balance sheet profit and loss statements and financial statements. Performs monthly closings within the department. Assesses and reports on improvements to accounting system processes, policies and procedures. Analyzes, researches and recommends solutions for complex accounting issues.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible support financial activities including corporate reporting control, also journal entry and monthend, quarterend and yearend close activities, coordination for some activities assigned to other members in the team, and focal point for Projects and initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Support GSF Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects
  • Responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for the payable process flows, including but not limited to Prepayments, GRIR and AP balance sheet accounts
  • Support blackline reconciliation and general accounting process
  • Understanding of accounting technical requirements
  • Understanding controls applicable in the process
  • Supporting leading others and follow up of the operational duties assigned within the team

Qualifications:


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Accounting or related is required.
  • You need to have at least 4 to 5 years of experience.
  • English Intermediate (required)
  • Knowledge of general accounting processes
  • SAP knowledge and working experience
  • Soft Skills: Leadership, team work, stakeholder management, effective communication.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point, communication skills, knowledge of general accounting processes, understanding of accounting principles and practices, compliance knowledge (Sox and internal controls), matrix environment, analytical skills, logical thinking; knowledge on other SAP modules, Financial Services and Shared Services is a plus.
