Job Description:


This is a full-time position located at i-APS office in Bogota, Colombia, and follows the i-APS work model with split time between telework and the office, with the expectation of at least three to four days per week in the office.

  • In this leadership role, the Finance Admin Director will develop and implement the financial activities, guiding its financial strategy, planning, and reporting and maintaining the overall fiscal stability
  • Develops/updates and communicates policies, procedures, priorities, systems, and activities and collaborates to address issues of company culture, practices, and efficiencies
  • Ensures effective, ethical, transparent, and accountable work practices across all iAPS work units
  • Oversee the company's financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, investment (e.g., technology, KAPtech group, countrylevel investments), and auditing activities
  • Optimize and scale financial systems, including cash flow planning, taxes, and general accounting, and evaluate other systems and software as they relate to contract management and administration, accounting/finance, HR, and operations.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions, including tax planning and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidations, planning, and analysis.
  • Provide pricing strategies, lead costing/budget development, and guidance for business development for all USG, USAID, and similar clients' work and costing/budgets.
  • Manage the contracts according to all applicable contract rules and regulations, including FAR.
  • Develop and/or maintain indirect rate structure and cost strategy, working with leadership on the direction to go and how to remain competitive.
  • Lead and manage a team of diverse finance and accounting staff that provide global financial support across the company.
  • Manage revenues from consulting/advisory and technology products.
  • Define metrics for financial effectiveness and develop the tools and systems for providing critical financial information to the Executive Team.
  • Oversee and manage consolidated monthly financial books, closeout, review, and reporting.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience; degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification preferred
  • 10 plus years of experience working in finance for a USAID contractor on international projects. Experience working on a USAID project is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory (CAS, FAR, AIDAR, GAAP, DCAA) compliance
  • Understanding of legal and tax compliance structures and their impact on work
  • Knowledge of indirect rate structures, cost allocations, financial management systems, and accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Experience in creating and executing cost proposals for USAID projects, and overseeing budgets, and in budget monitoring
  • Experience in designing efficient processes to deliver budget and key financial proposals
  • Expertise in financial monthend close, and consolidated financial statements
  • Expertise leading investment strategy and tracking expenses per cost centers and investment centers
  • Deep experience overseeing financial systems and reporting
  • Ability to understand and articulate organizational risks
  • Ability to effectively inspire and direct staff (including crossfunctional teams) in the areas of professional development, recruitment, performance, and time management
  • Fluency in English
