About this opportunity


As a SSupervisor Clinical Support, you will be responsible for managing and improving your area of responsibility with excellence by supervising, coaching and motivating the Clinical Support team.

A Clinical Supervisor should work closely with the Staff Orthodontist and Clinical Managers from other areas, providing ideas for improvement in the Clinical Group.

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities fall in three broad categories, but may not be limited to:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Scope & Complexity

  • Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors
  • Typically supervises professional and/or technical staff.
  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action
  • Acts as advisor to unit or subunits and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
Leadership and Management

  • Accomplishes results through management of professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors
  • Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance
  • Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
Impact

  • Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees
  • Recommends changes to unit or subunit policies

In this role, you will

  • Responsible for staffing, training, and discipline of clinical staff to support ongoing production needs in a high growth environment.
  • Implement and champion continuous process improvement methodologies and techniques and establish ClinCheck quality monitoring processes (360 program) and clinical profiling process for targeted customers.
  • In charge of constant supervision of the technicians/CL Support team to guarantee high clinical quality standards in Align products and services.
  • Provide an organized structure that supports production and customer care needs.
  • Propose ideas for software development and participates in projects for their implementation and proposes ideas for procedures and processes to promote improved service and customer satisfaction, and overall department improvements.
  • Build internal networks and drive effective collaboration with LATAM regional stakeholders
  • Sales, Clinical Advisors, Marketing;
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

In this role, you'll need

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in in Orthodontia
  • 2 years of experience as orthodontist and/or supervisor clinical support.
  • Good knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools.

  • WORK SCHEDULE /

HOURS:
The normal work hours and days assigned to this position are Mon-Fri 9:00am to 6:00pm.

  • Travel as required.
