Your Mission

A Client Activations Specialist is energetic, outgoing and tech-savvy within an activations team, constantly adapting to new developments in the payment industry.

They will have the opportunity to develop their skills, learn more about new technologies and start their career with a growing and innovative company that puts its employees first.

The Activations team is responsible for all outbound calls to our Canadian and US merchants.

Daily duties include reaching out to newly boarded merchants, assisting with setting up their new accounts and providing training on terminal functionality.

All while keeping Nuvei's service standards in mind, ensuring that the first call of their merchant experience with the company is exceptional.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Make outbound calls to merchants who have not started processing yet, support and train merchants with installing the terminals, virtual terminals, e-commerce accounts, and ISVs.
Ensure timely and effective resolution of merchant requests.
Professionally manage various types of interactions and always foster merchant loyalty.
Identify trends and report them to promote continuous process improvement.
Schedule appointments and adhere to the agreed time.
Escalate to appropriate channels any merchant questions that may prevent installation with the goal of a timely resolution.
Manage pending installations.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrates strong tact, discretion, and ethics. Is a team player.
Able to "think outside the box" and to be creative in introducing new ideas.
Able to perform under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
Takes initiative and responsibility for the quality of their work.
Possesses outstanding customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English (Spanish, French are a plus).
Strong time management and followthrough with scheduled appointments.
Advanced computer, typing and MS Office suite skills.
High school diploma or equivalent

Working Language

English (written and spoken) is the language used most of the time, as work colleagues, clients, and strategic suppliers are geographically dispersed.
