Cost Supervisor.

Location:
Bogotá, Colombia.

Reports to:
Supply Chain Manager

OVERVIEW:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Lead the standard cost roll process in SAP and report impact on changes to executive level management.
Ensure all costs are correct and on time reflected in financial and accounting system
Determine standard product cost calculation for new items
Prepare and calculate capital variances
Prepare and calculate Excess & Obsolete and Shrink reserves
Generate MPV Material price reports and MUV reports and analyze findings
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annually explanations for inventories Balance Sheet reporting
Prepare inventory and reserves account reconciliations
Prepare monthly inventory journal entries (adjustments and others)
Provide management with reports specifying and comparing standard costs to actual costs
Review and preparation of Workpapers for Financial Internal and External Audit (costs and inventories)
Analyze audits of costs and preparing reports
Assist in Month end close of the General Ledger
Monitors cycle count program, analyze cycle counting variances (Implementar Workiva)
Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements
Ensure compliance to internal controls and Company SOX policies
Review and prepaid estimates and budget for material price, factory burden and cap variances, shrink and E&O Provision.
Preparation of Estimates and Budget for COGS

Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
Strong initiative and proactiveness, even working under pressure.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to clearly summarize and communicate the results of detailed analyses to executive management
Manage multiple competing priorities

MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/ Business administration
At least 3year relevant experience in cost function at first level multinational companies, preferably in consumer's industry.
Strong technical accounting skills
Experience working on development and analysis of cost standards
Financial analytical skills
Strong Excel skills
Intermediate level of English
