Role Description// Join our Site Reliability Engineering team at Masabi as we embark on a transformative journey in fare collection technology.

As a SRE, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our platform's reliability, performance, and security.

This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our infrastructure, offering an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team that bridges the gap between development and operations, delivering resilient service in a rapidly evolving industry.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimize existing infrastructure tools (Puppet, CloudFormation), collaborating using Jira Service Management.

Navigate the "Interruptible" process, ensuring stability and the reliability of our infrastructure.

Lead Grafana Cloud operations, including infrastructure code, user management, and permissions for robust monitoring solutions.

Oversee CloudFront, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Nginx, enhance infrastructure security and contribute to PCI and SoC2 compliance.

Implement GitLab Runner on Amazon's Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) to modernize infrastructure and streamline CI/CD processes. Lead the transition from Puppet to Amazon's Elastic Container Service (ECS) for containerization. Drive the shift from CloudFormation to Terraform, improving Infrastructure as Code practices.

Spending time with development teams to understand their infrastructure needs.

Work closely with senior engineering/tech strategy groups to implement future architecture and platform visions.

Enhance processes like deployments and upgrades, aiming for maximum efficiency and reliability.

Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure to support scaling and debug production issues across services.

About YouA team player who keeps an open mind for each project, being security focused.

Strong experience in SRE or related roles. Proficiency in Terraform, Grafana, with solid skills in security and networking components.

Hands-on experience with EKS and ECS is a plus.

Knowledge of PCI DSS V4 Compliance requirements would be desirable.

Passion for driving technological advancements and a commitment to ensuring reliability and security.

Experience in building high-quality software and , CI/CD infrastructure.

Excellent communication skills, collaborative spirit, eagerness to learn and contribute.

You are self-sufficient and able to work independently without constant supervision, yet possesses the awareness to seek help when necessary.
