The Role:

The Steward maintains equipment, inventory, and cleanliness standards in kitchens and storage areas. They handle waste and ensure efficient operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design job roles according to staff capabilities and skills.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Verify attendance, punctuality, and task completion during service shifts.
• Review kitchen cleanliness, refrigerators, and chambers for optimal conditions.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and cleaning programs.
• Maintain kitchens, storage, corridors, and areas in optimal conditions.
• Prioritize equipment maintenance and control expenses.
• Analyze inventory needs and prepare annual purchase plans.

Requirements:

• Degree in food engineering, industrial engineering, or similar fields.
• Minimum 3 years experience leading medium-sized teams (10-20) in kitchen cleaning with high staff turnover.
