In this role, you will build platform services that will be integrated with our teaching and learning products, as well as our data products, to deliver best in class reporting and learning solutions to clients.

You will join a motivated, creative, and energetic team that works in a flexible and agile fashion to deliver world-class products to the education market.

By joining this team, you will become a core contributing member to Anthology's EdTech Platform initiative.

This future state platform will seamlessly and uniquely deliver a revolutionized learning experience through innovation, continuous delivery, and architectural integration.


Required skills/qualifications:

  • Experience building in largescale, cloud environments, AWS, cloudbased solution implementation and maintenance, domaindriven design, and serviceoriented architecture
  • Experience implementing Web Services (REST API), authentication, CI/CD lifecycles, and pipelines
  • Knowledge and experience working with serverless technology such as asynchronous architecture, eventbased architecture, lambda and NoSQL data modeling
  • Understanding of AWS serverless services (such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, Event Bridge)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences in a global environment
  • Passionate about software development and can provide guidance on best practices, design and architecture standards
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Experience in the education industry and with elearning technologies
  • Master's degree
  • AWS certification
