PROJECT MANAGER - DIGITAL PROGRAMS, TRANSFORMATION

As a Project Manager in the adidas market ecom organization your task is to ensure a portfolio of strategic projects remains on track to delivery and that priorities are aligned between the market and regional digital organizations.

The project scope is on a regional (North America & Latin America) level across brands and functions.

The key focus of this role is to support the success of the Bogota location as a part of the Americas Location Strategy.

This includes managing topics such as onboarding, workplaces, HR, IT, communications, process and ways of working definition and improvement.

This role will also focus on driving employee morale initiatives across the North American digital team located in Bogota, providing organization-wide visibility to Digital priorities and milestones, supporting the preparation for key internal meetings, and serving as a central point-person for Americas-based projects.

- Key Responsibilities- Scope: Manage and deliver small digital projects on a local (market) level-Project/ Program Delivery

  • Oversee a portfolio of strategic projects, working with leaders to ensure projects are on track and risks and escalations are addressed.
  • Ease operating model and process challenges by facilitating workshops to understand pain points, conducting process mapping, and making recommendations for improvement in process, tools, and resources
  • Develop and support change management activities for project roll outs
  • Drive continuous improvement of products, processes or systems within the project scope.
  • Help define new ways of working and operating models to support business needs
  • Serve as the market representative consolidating inputs into the market led strategic planning and enhancement/insight processes
  • Facilitate priority alignment between local eCom and market digital teams
  • Work with regional and local stakeholders to assess feasibility, complexity and technical solution options for business problems and insights.
  • Develop detailed plans that allow providing transparency on progress and identifying risks on time.
  • Identify interdependencies with other projects and solve issues proactively.
Organize employee activation sessions/events and onboarding for the Bogota based North American Digital Employees; create and distribute documentation of these events

  • Manage and execute a calendar of internal communications to keep the organization up to date on key successes
  • Coordinate and facilitate team meetings
  • Create processes and efficiencies in ways of working across the Americas.
  • Serve as a touchpoint/liaison representing the largely cross functional Bogota based team in Americas wide large scale projects
-driving operating model initiatives on the ground.

  • Work with global portfolio team as a point of contact for Americas projects and programs.
  • Onboarding new hires coordinating with local HR to ensure systems, workplaces, IT etc.
are in place.

  • Resource Planning
  • Lead and manage team resources (internals and externals) to deliver and support projects & programs.
  • Communication
  • Act as the key contact person for local and regional stakeholders.
As conflicts and escalations arise within projects, identify solutions and drive their resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Manage change within projects and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.
Support in the planning and facilitation of meetings and events related to strategic projects rollout

  • Project Controlling
  • Manage project controlling as an independent element to ensure that actual project costs are in line the committed budget.
  • Conduct engagement reviews.
Verify compliance with quality assurance procedures. Validate if project are delivering against program KPIs.

  • Monitor project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.)
against plan in order to implement corrective or preventive actions.

  • Digital Employee Activation
  • Organize employee activation sessions/events/onboarding for the North America digital team located in Bogota; create and distribute documentation of these sessions
Coordinate and facilitate regular all-team meetings; partner with stakeholders on desired outcomes, create agendas, speakers, distribute minutes, and manage action items
Additional, If required Responsibilities-Agile Transformation

  • Drive the implementation of elements of the transformation to full agile working mode and facilitate agile adoption.
  • Contribute to developing and orchestrating the demand & delivery process within market and global digital.
  • Market Development
  • Create business cases for your market with support from local/global Analytics team to evaluate growth opportunities.
  • Implement the base platform capabilities, build by global, required to fulfill business cases, together with IT.
