Job Description:


Develops technical solutions and management processes by means of implementing systems or enterprise wide solutions, using the company's or a third-party's hardware/software products.

Develops and recommends solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.

Participates in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple types of server and storage hardware.
o Discrete servers

o Blade servers

o Storage Area Networks

  • Experience with Active Directory tools and utilities.
o VMWare management console.- Understanding of EMC SAN Storage hardware- Familiarity with network and san switching technologies- Good English reading, writing and verbal communication skills- Able to work in a round-the-clock, global operation 7 days x 24 hours

  • Strict adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 23+ years of experience in IT or customer support

Desired Qualifications:

  • Background and understanding of IT controls and compliance.
  • Solid PC skills and proficiency in office productivity software (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, etc.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Functional Expertise- Microsoft ACL table (file/folder permissions)- Active Directory Architecture- Microsoft clustering- Performance monitoring techniques on server software and hardware- Able to work remotely on server hardware and software issues- VMWare- Linux
