Job Summary:
- The Associate Project Manager, Integration serves as a key partner to within the Integration Management Office (IMO) supporting various projects and initiatives. The Associate Project Manager position will provide support of M&A due diligence, M&A integrations, and process improvement initiatives. This role is a high visibility role which will require close partnership and collaboration with many of Zimmer Biomet's Global Business units, Functions, and Regions. The Associate Project Manager will be a key to facilitating a systematic process and seamless integration of Zimmer Biomet's acquisitions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support daytoday execution of the overall integration process, including guiding crossfunctional teams and assisting with weekly integration team meetings to ensure activity plans remain relevant and are being executed
- Gathers and compiles critical Integration Governance Data for reporting requirements
- Prepare and conduct project status reports to update executive management regularly on progress, risks and issues
- Maintain and disseminate tools, templates and tracking mechanisms to efficiently manage the planning, organization, and coordination of integration activities Daytoday oversight of integration work streams and the associated plans and deliverables
- Recommends new improvements procedures and processes
- Regularly implements process improvements for IMO
- Maintain tools within the integration project to track risks, issues and opportunities and define interfunctional dependencies within the integration process
Expected Areas of Competence:
- Selfmotivation to learn in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the corporation and various business units
- Strong skills in change management, meeting facilitation and conflict resolution
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders Project Management Experience preferred
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience managing and successfully delivering projects OR
- Master's degree with 3+ years of experience managing and successfully delivering projects
Travel Requirements:
- 10%
