Role Overview
In this role, you will support Nisum Colombia's Human Resources operations.

This role will be a direct report to the Head of People & Culture based in Chile, and you will be also reporting to the Head of Nisum Colombia.


The role will require excellent leadership and oversight of Human Resources, Payroll, labor legal compliance, Health & Safety Management System and Employee Engagement.


What you'll do:


  • Partners with the Colombian leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, payroll, retention, and labor law compliance.
  • Manages HR, Payroll and Health & Safety processes for Nisum Colombia
  • Provides support and guidance to HR support, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, and terminations
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Creates and implements a targeted Colombian employee engagement program
  • Champions and upgrades existing training and leadership programs for Nisum Colombia
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintains compliance with Colombian employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

What you know:


  • You have experience in similar roles for over 5 years
  • Advanced english skills
  • Human Resources certification
  • You have experience in Human Resources and labor law for a minimum of 5 years
  • You have deep knowledge on payroll and HR administrative processes
  • Must be well versed in Colombia Visa requirements and labor laws
  • Possess exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to articulate a clear point of view on complicated issues in clear, concise communications
  • You can communicate effectively in english
  • You are agile, flexible individual with a "cando," problemsolving approach to managing ambiguity in a fastpaced and everchanging environment
  • You have worked globally for a minimum of 2 years
