Responsibilities:
- The Digital Sales Executive will be responsible for maximizing our software business within the assigned accounts / territory representing a broad ESS portfolio that includes Asset and Work Solutions (Enterprise Asset Management, Field Service Management, Asset Performance Management, Asset Investment Planning), Energy Portfolio Management (Investment, Operating, Trading, Compliance)
- Meet and/or exceed sales and new business goals.
- Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
- Work closely with senior executives and team members to develop sales strategies and tactics to close business and build reference accounts.
- Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
- Qualifications 10+ years successful track record in enterprise complex software sales focused on developing, managing and closing sevenfigure, licensed based deals (SaaS, perpetual, annual) with large industrial customers (utilities, mining, rail, OGP)
- Identify, reach and influence Clevel decision makers, stakeholders and industry influencers within targeted accounts and territory.
- Ability to develop customer intimacy required to work in collaboration with customer to solve critical business issues. Ability to create opportunities through creative problem solving and working with customers.
- High energy and engagement with entrepreneurial mindset that works to maximize mutual value between assigned accounts and/or territory with Hitachi Energy's Enterprise Software Solutions (ESS) portfolio.
- Proven success working within a matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and the capability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations at executive level.
- Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts and represent Hitachi Energy within various and complex buying centers.
- Ability to create, negotiate and close mutual engagement plans with customers to drive large enterprise opportunities.
