Cloud & API QA Automation Engineer:

About the role:

We are looking for a Cloud & API QA automation engineer to bring their expertise to our team.

You will be responsible for developing test documentation and procedure and executing the tests on various software products produced by the software engineering team.

Testing responsibilities will cover cloud/back-end APIs, as well as connectivity between components and mobile apps. Our plan is to build a solid test automation framework that covers all of our infrastructure components.

Skills & Experience:

5+ years of working experience;
Experience in a QA automation environment;
Experience with API testing or development;
Experience with testing Lambda functions;
Experience with Postman;
Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle;
Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and Linux; knowledge of network stack;
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Typescript, or equivalent);
Strong communication skills;
Upperintermediate level of spoken and written English.

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience with Jenkins or TeamCity Integration;
Familiarity with BE automation or API validation;
Love for pets.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prioritize testing activities;
Design, develop and execute automation scripts and test suites;
Troubleshoot automation software issues;
Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development and system testing;
Design and develop test documentation;
Prepare detailed test reports;
Communicate and collaborate with developers and other team members;
Perform additional responsibilities when required.
