    We are looking for a Data Analytics & Operations Specialist to join the team of a large transportation company based in the USA.

    These are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:


    As a Data Analytics & Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in analyzing the company's data and database systems to design, develop, and support custom reports for our business units and external customers.

    Your work will be critical to the success of our business units and external customers, ensuring a high availability and optimal performance of our data solutions.


    Your responsibilities will include:

    Support Services:
    Assisting the Data & Analytics team in resolving data issues to meet a 99% uptime SLA.

    You will develop, maintain, and support a wide array of reports using MS SQL Server Reporting Services, and Power BI, among others.


    Implementation Services:
    You will develop data architecture solutions, integration, and access in collaboration with engineers and administrators.

    Additionally, you will work on process automation using Microsoft Power Automate and research new technologies to enhance our data analytic solutions.


    Administration:

    Providing leadership, mentorship, and/or guidance to the data user community, working directly with the supervisor to plan data services capabilities and personal goals for the next 3-5 years.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    To succeed in this role you will need a mix of technical expertise, education, and collaborative skills.

    We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

    Experience and Education: 8-10+ years of hands-on experience in report development, management, and support within a Microsoft SQL environment.

    An Associate's degree in a technical discipline, and/or 8+ years of industry experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of industry experience is required.


    English Skills:
    Upper intermediate to Advanced skills (B2+ / C1)Essential Technical Skills:

    Proficiency in T-SQL and significant experience with Microsoft SSRS, Power BI, and Visual Studio.


    Experience in data modeling for operational and analytical systems, design, and implementation of database schemas for OLAP and OLTP systems.

    Experience with SSIS for pipeline maintenance; familiarity with Snowflake, Qlik, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI is desirable.

    Solid understanding of ETL and ELT data transformation techniques.

    Knowledge of data backup and recovery solutions, preferably with experience in Microsoft SQL and Cohesity.

    Experience deploying and managing Power BI in an enterprise environment.


    Additional Skills:
    Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

    Basic to advanced knowledge in data visualization.

    Knowledge of AWS would be beneficial but is not mandatory.

    Proficiency in using Microsoft Azure at an intermediate level, showing an interest in advancing their understanding.
