Job Description:

AECOM has excellent career opportunities for a creative, highly talented and experienced Transportation Business Line Manager based in Bogotá, Colombia.

The TBLL will lead and support all the transportation infrastructure projects in Colombia managing the technical and administrative resources and activities required for successful compliance of our clients goals and commercial objectives.

This position will report to AECOM's Country Manager in Colombia.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Oversight of Transportation resources projects delivery including but not limited to airports, rails, ports, highways, ITS and other infrastructure designs.
Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM Colombia, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM's capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.
Participates in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation of AECOM's qualification/experience statements.
Promote collaborative culture between the different technical teams along LATAM
Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.
Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitors subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.
Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management.
Monitors and reports financial status of projects to managers.
Responsible for leading transportation design teams and proven capacity to encounter creative technical solutions to problems that require optimization in designs and Project management services.
Reviews project technical documents and other design products to ensure optimal quality and timely delivery.
Plans complex transportation projects, develop programs, establish and manage procurement plans, working capital and financial performance
Ensures that projects are executed according to plan and budget.
Becomes familiar with the operation of the business and with the economic commercial environment
Informs of any issues facing the business while anticipating and preventing unexpected situations.
Operates as leader while also getting involved in the details of the work
Takes a proactive approach in helping the business to solve problems
Responsible for driving accounting interface to ensure timely and accurate preparation and upload of estimates at completion (EAC)
Validates the accuracy of revenue recognition at month end
