Kantar seeks a highly skilled Junior Software Development Engineer - Backend to join our Verticals Team in Chile and Colombia.

About the Role

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure backend systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality code that meets requirements and adheres to coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Implement automated testing and deployment processes to ensure smooth system operations.
• Participate in code reviews to improve overall code quality and adhere to best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a backend role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization tools, like Docker.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus or ELK Stack.
